The challenge

As time is a simple construct - locking files or media "in time" is a hard task. Over the last decade remberme - the idea about achieving 100% unbreakable, even by governments and agencies, has been a personal obsession by me.

My approach

For a long time, discussing this subject with people smarter than me I have explored many approached to achieve this. It has been clear for a while that some form of distributed consensus is the way to go. Together with Claude AI we discovered what is called "Distributed Predictive Randomness" that is used in blockchain for various validations. This could be used to create a consensus based time concept that noone can rule on their own.

Outcome

RemberMe is now a fully working platform - where technology was the proof, not UX - where we can encrypt files, media and memories - in the users browser into a "self-extracting" .rbm file that can be stored on cold media, CD, DVD, SD etc. and then self-unlock un the future. 3days or 30 years from now. In the mean time the data is 100% hidden and cant be decrypted in any way.
